Issue trying to uninstall Aveva 2020

Hi,

I'm trying to unistall Aveva Plant SCADA 2020 R2 so I can upgrade to 2023 R2. When uninstalling the application I obtained those 2 errors messages and then the progress is interrupt.

Any idea ? Thanks.

These are typical Windows Installer errors due to changes of ACL on some folders on you machine. Check out the blog below and see if it could help you resolving the issue. Good luck!

Thanks, for your answer.

I was thinking about some kind of admin rights beause we are running on Windows server 2019 an there is a lot of restriction.

I simply run the uninstall exe from the console in admin mode and it work...
