ASP.NET Core development

Before i start a full on project, i am wondering if anyone has had any success using ASP.NET with CTAPI? Maybe there is a github library out there somewhere?

It’s basically to be a little trend download tool, I want to be able to have a drop down box with all the tags from the project, select a tag and timeframe, then get the trend, and export to CSV for our analyst staff to work with. It’s easier setting it up as a front end and backend so that any user on the network can download the trend data they want.
