Sentinel Key update licence to AVEVA Enterprise Licence

The AVEVA Enterprise License (AEL) was introduced in Plant SCADA 2020 R2, and was required to license the Industrial Graphics Web Server.

Then in Plant SCADA 2023, the main product (SCADA runtime) was able to also use AEL for licensing.

There is nothing stopping you from licensing your SCADA runtime with a Sentinel Dongle and continue to use AEL for just the Industrial Graphics Web Server part. That will work. They are somewhat independent components.

If you really want to switch to pure AEL for licensing, you will need to get in contact with your distributor or AVEVA sales representative. It will involve surrendering the Sentinel Dongle and replacing it with an Entitlement for AEL.

Please also note that Industrial Graphics pages are limited in capabilities and probably not able to replace existing graphics just yet. It will only be able to display real-time data (from Variable Tags). But it doesn't have Trend or Alarm display capabilities yet.
