Our IT guys have locked down access to the internet from our SCADA servers, which is understandable from a security perspective, but this means our Floating License manager is only usable in "offline" mode for activating licenses.
Our IT guys are happy to open up access to the specific URL/s that the floating license manager needs to access in order to allow online activation of our licenses. but in order to do so, they need to know what the URL is.
i cannot find this information documented anywhere, and so far aveva suppport has not been very helpful in this regards. We cannot be the only organisation that actually institutes security on our SCADA systems, so I'm hoping that someone else has had to allow this URL through their Corporate proxy and can tell me what it is, even if there are multiple URLs.
