We have commissioned system of Vijeo citect 2016 and Vijeo Historian 2016 in Which we have report template devoloped in MS-Excel and VB code.
we created some DSN for vijeo Historian database and reading Historian tags in excel and generating reports, system works fine for long period.
Now recently we have added some Citect Tags into Vijeo Historian, now when we are refering this newly added Tags into same MS-excel templates, it takes a longer time to present data in excel, whereas old tags has no such time delay.
We did a database maintanance activity for historian database in SQL where rebuild indexes were performed succesefully but still performance for value reading of new tags is not improved.
Do we have to follow any steps in vijeo Historian when we are adding or deleting some tags into it OR some configuration at SQL side after modifying the Historian Tags?
Any suggestions over this?
