OPC server hanging after client disconnect

Did someone else listening OPC server after client reconnect? Some servers are going to "sleep" mode when no one is listening to them

No one is listening to the OPC server when that one client disconnects.  Do you know of any settings that could be adjusted to keep Citect OPC server from going into a sleep mode?

After quick googling i found that citect opc is a opc ua server. It have to work in any conditions. Strange. But in general you must setting up opc server as service and deploy it on some machine in your system. And at least one item or something must reach data from sensors or whatever it is in your line. Something in your system must polling sensors through the opc server. so it wount shut down

Hi Anton, 

I found a windows help file that suggested a potential issue with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).  I re-registered and rebuilt/repaired WMI and it works fine again.  I have no idea of the cause of the problem yet.
