CITECT HISTORIAN DATA QUERY

If you want to query with reporting in mind, the AVEVA Reports for Operation has native connector for Citect Historian. Both Alarms and Tags

This tool allows to set the report format to e.g. Excel format, if users just wants to play with the data. Otherwise the report can be configured to PDF and emailed to the clients.

As announced in July 2021, Citect Historian will be end-of-life at the end of this year (31-Dec-2024). The recommended replacement is AVEVA Historian, which is a much stronger offer. Rather that starting to build new reports/solutions on Citect Historian, I'd recommend spending the effort on upgrading the server.
