Can you confirm what version of Plant SCADA you are using? What version of PCS have you got installed?

The following PCS / Plant SCADA dependencies exist:

Plant SCADA 2020 R2 Patch 1 to Patch 10 requires PCS 4.6.2

Plant SCADA 2020 R2 Patch 11 or later requires PCS 4.6.3.

Can you explain why you are unable to download the patch? I assume you have a login to the GCS website to get the patches?

Let me know how you go. If still having issues, you could uninstall PCS, and install from the original install media again.

Thank you for the reply.

I actually have no idea about the PCS, The installation I've gotten previously from the local schneider was SCADA 2020 R2 Version 8.3. 

Currently i have no access to the downloading database and the local schneider is taking more than two months to revert. Hence resorted to ask here.

Ok, I think the quickest path to a solution is to uninstall PCS, then install Plant SCADA 2020 R2 again, which will install PCS as a prerequisite. Hope this gets you back up and running quickly.

I'm not going to click on links I don't know what they are. I've not heard of "insourcess.com".

When you uninstalled PCS, it might be necessary to edit registry and make sure all PCS settings are removed. Check this location and delete any keys that still remain (make sure to backup anything before deleting in case you need to revert):
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ArchestrA

If you are still experiencing issues, I recommend reaching out to AVEVA or Schneider Support (who ever you feel most comfortable with) and troubleshoot this further with them.

That article has the same thing that you had described, deleting in file back and registry keys. Even after that it wasn't getting installed.

Thank you for the feedback i will try to contact another schneider source and get this sorted. Posted here thinking that could get through to another source with download accessibility from AVEVA.
