Internal Memory variables syncing between redundant IO server.

Dear Experts,

We are using Plant SCADA 2023 R2. We have two redundant IO Servers. We need to have internal memory variables to by synced between the two servers (to be used for user input setpoints). How to achieve that?

You can use any preferred protocol of yours to create redundant I/O devices in the memory mode. A quick way is to use I/O Device Wizard to create a device as  suggested, as shown below.

Then you duplicate the new device and update it with another I/O server, startup mode and priority.

You can start adding variable tags after configuring these two devices. I suggest to use the OFSOPC protocol (driver installed by default) because Tag Names can be used as Addresses, which makes it easier to create variable tags.
