Could not connect to the Primary License Server from View Client via Zerotier VPN

Hi,

Plant Scada 2023R2 (8.5) + 1-view client - software licences (AEL 4.0.1)

I have configured zerotier vpn network for connection plant scada server (Windows 10) with view-client ( Windows 10/11).

Computers have ping also I have added ports 55555,59200,55559 to firewall or I test with disable firewall.

I can't from view client computer in Configurator doing test connection to server.

When start application Plant Scada project working and have communication IOServer , Alarm Server , Trend Server ,

but after few seconds "software protection error", because client cant get licence from server.

Testing with portqry ports and they have status listening.

    Hi  ,

    It is a known issue and security related. In your case, the AEL server and client are running in different "domains". The user you used to launch and configure the license on the client side cannot be authenticated by the AEL server. So, you should launch Configurator as Different User (Shift+Right Click) and use the credential that must be in the admin group on the server side. Basically, you work around this issue with the Windows Workgroup security.

    You are right Jacky , thank you.

    Opened Configurator as Different User, defined the same user on both side and configure again, works.

    The system Management Server need to be configured too, then i can get license from my server to view client.
