I am trying to make S7TCP driver working with PLC Sim Advanced with no luck. Do you have any success and experience with such?
I have the latest driver driver latest version 3.03 downloaded from Aveva.
I can read tags from S7-1516 PLC (when security is deisabled). But when I try same with PLC Sim Advanced, I get "Failed to connect to device" error.
I went through the help and I see some refreshed information. What I cannot find is if it supports communication (no-protection) with Siemens PLCSim Advanced.
Could You tell what PLCSIm Advanced version is supported with S7TCP?
Are there any limitation?
