The maximum number of history files per trend tag is 999 according to Use Trend History Files in the Plant SCADA online help. The compiler's validation range is 0-1000. If you would like to store longer historical data, consider increasing the size per trend file, say from Weekly to Monthly.

Hi Jacky, after reading your reply I found a No. of Files parameter with an extra "0" in it.  Thanks, you pointed me to the problem.
