Number of tags for license

Hello, I'm new with Aveva Plant SCADA and I have some questions:

1.Which is difference between Variables - Local and Variables?

2.How can I see how many tags I used (necessary for the license) All the tags from Variables are used from license tags number?

3.How can I move a value to another directly in System Model ->Variables ?

I want to develop my apps and after when I received all the tags from PLC just to move the values from PLC tags communication to local used tags. This will double my tags used from license?

EDIT: I hope will help somebody:

1. Variable Tags are variables that are actually connected to the I/O Device (including DISK I/O).

Local Variables are variables that are used only within the project. They will be cleared every time the runtime is restarted.

Also, can somebody recommend me any tutorials step by step for Aveva Plant SCADA 2023 or Citect 2018?? I tried to find some on YT but many of them are very short or in hindi or other languages.

Actually their definitions should be Local Variables and Variable Tags

The client process manages the license operation including the point usage. General window in kernel will show the license details as shown in the screenshot below.

You need to define a protocol I/O device and reference it in Variable tags table. Each variable tag should have its own address defined on the PLC side. For example, an integer tag has the address of 40001 in Modbus and of ns=3;s=4:TankLevel in OPC UA.

The point count will only include those variable tags that are linked to external I/O devices (PLCs). The internal ones, such as Disk and Memory, will not be counted.
