Remote Response Objects for Application Server 2023R2

I have a distributor asking about Application Server 2023R2 and support for the Remote Response Objects v2.0 for a upgrade project proposal. This version of the RROs required the now out-of-support redistributables, but that redistributables folder is no longer delivered on the SP 2023R2 ISO. is there a plan for these objects going forward?

Also, is any intention to make REST API integration’s available, to push notifications to one of the many cloud-based monitoring services out there (ex: Pagerduty )?

Regarding the Remote Response Objects v2.0 and Application Server 2023R2: The RRO 2.0 is indeed compatible with 2023 R2, but requires Microsoft libraries that are now end-of-life. While we cannot supply these libraries directly anymore for security reasons, users who can independently source them will find that RRO 2.0 continues to work with 2023 R2.

We recognize that this isn't an ideal long-term solution, so we are actively recompiling RRO with updated libraries to ensure out-of-the-box functionality. The release of these new RRO objects is currently targeted for the end of Q1 2024. Additionally, this upcoming release will feature OAuth support specifically for integration with Office 365.
