If so, the best option is installing the software on a virtual machine or a PC that is not linked to the corporate domain. I saw similar issues in the past because IT usually blocks ports and subsystems that ASP needs to work properly, and they won't unlock anything unless there's a solid argument.

Yes, I hope there won't be any issues with the Hyper-V machine.

I have been using both VMWare and Hyper-V to run ASP and I haven't had any issues so far.
