Hi together,
In the past we had the so called "Galaxy Scrubber" (e.g. 2014 R2) to repair galaxies, nowadays we suggest to export / import all objects into a new Galaxy to fix certain references / dependencies.
What if this doesn't work and the customer needs a deeper analysis of a Galaxy to check for possible corruption states?
Is there still some functionality / tech note from AVEVA available or is it done manually by going through the Galaxy?
Any insights or recommendations are appreciated. I know for a fact that a Galaxy is corrupted and the export/import doesn't fix the issue, in that case there are templates in the template view which contains a dot, e.g. $ContainerTemplate.SubTemplateName.
Dots are not allowed in a template name and the SubTemplateName should be assigned to the $ContainerTemplate instead which is not the case.
Thanks
Peter
