We want to inform you of a new technical alert issued today regarding a potential issue with alarm detection in Application Server.
ISSUE DETAILS:
AVEVA
has identified a problem affecting System Platform 2023 and System Platform 2023R2. Under certain conditions, Limit, ROC (Rate of Change), and Deviation alarms on UserDefined and Area objects may not function as expected at runtime. This issue is confined to the engineering environment and may prevent alarms from being properly registered with the AppEngine during runtime.
To address this, AVEVA is releasing hotfixes for each affected version. We strongly recommend that all users install the appropriate hotfix as soon as possible to ensure continued optimal performance.
