October's Development License Does Not Permit WindowViewer

I have a Virtual Machine with System Platform 2023.  In LocalLicensePool there are licences for this year for May, Aug, Sep.  Each time I've copied in the licence and everything is fine.  Now I have copied in October's licence, Advstd 46 Pl231 31 Oct 2024.loc, but WindowViewer won't run.

System Platform IDE runs with the new licence.  It had stopped working witht he Sep licence.  Why won't WindowViewer run?

    Hi Richard,

    I had a problem with the October license for a demo we gave.
    We needed multiple machines for some Hands-On labs/exercises for our customers.

    I pasted the Loc in the first machine and duplicated it 20 times.
    This was working fine. But when I changed the hostname of the machines it wasn't able to get the demo license.
    Removing it, placing it back, nothing worked.

    Duplicated it again and did not change the machine name. And it was working fine.

    I don't know if you changed the machine name? Or maybe in the past?

    Hi Olav, thank you for your comment.  In the past few months I've loaded in at least 3 monthly licences and all was well.  In Oct the IDE would not run, so I put the Oct licence in and the IDE runs.  WindowViewer still complains of no licence. Strange.  I've never changed the VM name since it was given to me. Just yesterday I re-downloaded the original VM, put in the Oct licence and Windowviewer runs.  I need to adjust the galaxy and application but I think this is going to be good.
