Is it reasonable to say that System Platform and OMI is IEC62443 Level1 compliant?
Can AVEVA give an official statement that this is the case?
Thanks in advance

Hi Allan, no software in the world is IEC 62443 Level 1 Compliant, what you are asking there is a cyber security configuration standard , as an engineer you have to take the application and bring it to IEC 62443 standards ( or any other standards that you want ) . When you do want to achieve a standard you will see that you will need to different products and solutions to achieve it. Yes, system Platform and OMI have features that you can configure to IEC 62443 Level 1,2,3,4,5 , NIS 2 framework and many more cybersecurity frameworks but the question you are asking is not a valid one hence there is no correct answer.
The levels are:
Hi Rainer
Thank you for your answer.
I was concerned that it was a question in the same category as "Is AVEVA CFR21 Part 11 compliant" (where the answer also is that you can build an application that can be compliant).
But I was wondering if AVEVA could give an official statement on this subject.
Best regards,
Allan
Only AVEVA can answer that, but for people asking the questions I would rather ask what features do you need to be compliant, going with a product first approach to cybersecurity is a very bad idea
