License for Communication drivers

Hi Jakob.
There is no need for a specific license in using DDESuitelink object connecting to a 3rd party driver, it is only necessary for running a AVEVA Operations Integration Supervisory server. (exception is OI Gateway, this does not require a Communication Driver license if used with other AVEVA Software).

Kepware license has to be acquired separately.

OI Drivers use Encrypted Suitelink for communications with Intouch or System Platform, I'm not sure if Kepware has that option, you need to allow non secure communications if you want to achieve that without using OI  gateway

I believe Kepware support Suitelink version 3, but you need to install at least the CDP (Communication Driver Pack) core components to get the options for configuring your System Management Server, if no other AVEVA software is installed on the node running the Kepware server to allow for Encrypted communications.

You can test the following from your node hosting your DDESuitlink object.

slsping <nodename>, server_runtime (server_runtime is the default application name for kepware) 

It should return the versions of suitlink that is working.
