Warning keeps appearing on the SMC

Hi Everyone,

I have added the user on the aaConfigtools,aaAdministrators and Administrators groups but I still get the following warning, please help.

Warning: The user ID is {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}, which is not acceptable for security verification

  • Hi!

This error is an indication on that there is a client component writing to a object attribute, where the client user is not logged in.

As an example, you have InTouch / OMI started, with user NOT logged in, but it has a symbol open that tries to write to a Object attribute.

    On Server hosting your object:

You will find the corresponding error on the client computer (if its not the same as the machine hosting your object).

This error indicates that you have enabled Security in your galaxy and you need to ensure that the client is logged in before attempting to write to the object.

Adding users to the groups that you mention (normally) only effects Config Time access related to IDE or Historian access and not the Application Server security model.

Since I'm not aware of your security model, network topology etc. that is the best answer i can give you Slight smile
