Integration of SAP PI-PCS with Aveva MES

Hi Saurabh,

Integration between MES and external systems is available with AVEVA Enterprise Integration (EI).  The most common integration is with SAP.  There are some basic examples in the EI 2023 release which are documented in the EI Demo Scenarios User Guide.

EI provides out of the box integration with AVEVA MES through predefined "locations" for the various MES tables using the MES API.  The SAP examples demonstrate using an XML file from SAP to pull in production orders, purchase orders, material definitions, and inventory.
