OPC UA question

The preferred behavior is of course that the driver adapts to changes without requiring a reset, but a reset should at least clear whatever is cached and create a clean connection to the server.

I will discuss this with our resident expert and see if this is something we can improve upon.

Hi Rickard, from AVEVAs side, I would like to see OPC UA Client ( OI Gateway ) and OPC UA Server ( Intouch/ System Platform ) have some troubleshooting tools and / or guide, currently it's almost impossible to find out any issue on AVEVA platform, that should give us peace of mind that we can troubleshoot, even if it's a workaround method that will do

I think that "impossible" is a bit strong, especially when you refer to the entire AVEVA platform since the availability and detail of diagnostics information varies.

I acknowledge that we can do better in several areas (it is certainly our ambition), including com drivers, and we expect to improve on that in coming versions.

Hi Rickard, the issue is only that we don't have a guide/ troubleshooting information, and this can easily be done !!
