AVEVA Edge Storage of Data

AVEVA Edge has similar to InTouch "LGH" files, in Edge they are called "HST" and configured from the "Trend Logger" configuration. In the trend logger, you have several formats,

1. Proprietary, uses the HST file format on the hard disk
   1. Note the HST file is not "humanly readable" but you can use the HST2TXT function to turn it into a CSV file
2. Database, uses any SQL database
3. Historian, uses either AVEVA Historian or AVEVA Insight

The Trend Logger worksheets can have up to 1000 tags per work sheet, and a project can have up to 999 different trend worksheets.

Rate will depend on hardware.
