Can AVEVA Historian 2023 work with Wonderware System Platform 2014R2?

End-user would like to install the AVEVA Historian 2023 to system with Wonderware System Platform 2014 R2.

I'm sure that Wonderware System Platform 2014R2 can works as the data collector (IDAS) for AVEVA Historian 2023 R2 or not?

If so, does Wonderware System Platform 2014R2 have the store and back-fill function?

    The technology matrix for Historian Server 2023 indicates its compatibility with System Platform 2014R2, hence it is possible to migrate your 2014R2 historian to 2023.       Thank you for sharing, but my case is to be coexisted between Wonderware System Platform 2014R2 and AVEVA Historian 2023 R2, there is no Application Server 2014R2 list in Product Coexistence, only shown in Product Interoperability / Compatibility.  How is this different between Product Coexistence vs Interoperability / Compatibility?

    Hi, You can not have two different versions of Application Server and Historian installed on the same Machine.

    But you could have Application Server 2014 R2 configured to use Historian 2023 R2 as the Historian, sending data over the network, using Store Forward etc.

    So as long as you split your installation in to multiple servers they can work together.

    Coexistance (Same server)

    Product Interoperability / Compatibility (Work together, but on different servers)
