I believe the Mobile Operations App is not as well documented as we would have liked to. The good news there is that we've started planning for an improvement. Until then, it may be a better option to use the web browser.

For now, I don't know for sure if/how the QR widget will work in the Mobile Operations App. I'll ask a colleague but unless someone who knows more about this can add their input, I suspect the best option is to seek Technical Support for this matter.

Thank you. I've already created a ticket with technical support months ago, but unfortunately we haven't gotten any answers yet. Would it be ok to proceed with the programming of a widget and try it out on the mobile operations app?

Sorry to hear that. I'd be happy to follow up on the support case if you share the number of the support ticket and if it was opened directly with AVEVA or with a distributor.

You can certainly try to build your own widget but I don't know enough about the App to say for sure if you'll be able to approve access to the camera.

I'm part of the distributors for Argentina, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. The only answer I've gotten from AVEVA so far, is that's not possible.

I asked similar question on the SP+OMI forum. The Mobile Operations App really needs an update. If you have any news on the release of the app please notify.
