Trending Solidify for longer time span

Hello community,

We have recently upgraded our wonderware InTouch application from v9.5 to Aveva InTouch 2023R2.

We are facing problem in historical trends.

It shows data and historical trends very fine for short span. But if we set the graphs for longer span e.g more than 15 hour or 1 day span the trends automatically solidifies.

All the settings and scripting are the same as before.

No industrial graphics are being used.

    1) Take a new machine, copy all this, delete all the .LGH files, create new one for say only 10 tags and see what happens

We have two separate standalone systems working as OWS and EWS with their own data logs. Both shows the same behavior.. However I would try on another machine as suggested.

    2) Whats the tag size of the application ? it is about 13000 active tags application for now.

How many tags are being historized in .LGH ? I have not idea about the exact number, it is around 1500 tags I guess.

    3) I would highly recommend to use Industrial graphics, right now i have not established if its a graphic issue or .LGH corruption issue, what does the OCMC logs say, mark flags and try for longer span, see what happens. I have not found any errors or warnings regrading trends in log files. but we will try to dig more about that.

    4) Part of migrtaion, again recommendation  is to use Historian for data reliability, faster, better trend data Does historian requires any other license other than development and runtime Licenses?
