Citect OPC UA driver

Are you running a single IO-server that has multiple IO Devices running multiple protocols with some (most) in memory mode and some "live" (the OPCUA) in your application by any change?

Hi Marián, there is a known issue when running some IODevices in memory mode within the same project. It was actually a defect in the Driver Runtime Interface. I'd recommend getting in contact with Citect Support and requesting a fix for this issue. You can confirm this by creating a simple test project with only OPCUA device configured.

Hi Marián, can you confirm which version of Citect SCADA you are running? I'll let you know the appropriate Update you need to apply.

Hi Marián, thanks for letting me know. The next update, Citect SCADA 2018 Update 04 - Dec 11 2018, will include the fix to this issue. It will be posted to the GCS website very soon, so keep an eye out for it!

Where are you guys seeing this OPC-UA io device?? I can't find anything to do with OPC-UA in Citect, only OPC-DA..

The OPC UA Client driver is only shipped with Citect SCADA 2018, but the driver installer is also available for download from the Connectivity Hub (https://softwaresupportsp.aveva.com/#/connectivityhub) and can be installed on Citect SCADA 2016 and above.
At the moment there is no OPCUA Server available for Citect SCADA, but there are plans to implement this feature in the coming release.
