ABCLX

I am having trouble reading digital tags from Compactlogix. It only occurs with some digital tags. Is there an updated version of the ABCLX driver? Is there a way to import tags directly into citect to ensure tag names and structures are correct? I already have failonbaddata = 0 and block =1 in the citect.ini. When I add one of the problem tags, all ABCLX tags go into error. I'm not very impressed by the lack of information available for this driver.

I use that driver for some time without any problem. Usually for that error can be a typo in the tag name or the tag is not readable from PLC (must be "Read/Write" if want to write on it from the scada, "Read Only" and not "None")
I think that the information in the help file is enough (file ABCLX.chm in Citect Bin folder)

Hi Tim,
There are some good Tech notes on the Knowledge and Support Center on debugging the ABCLX driver (TN6285, TN6461, TN6202). With the appropriate settings you can enable logs that will tell you which tags are in error.
If you are still stuck, reach out to AVEVA support who can walk you through the process over the phone.
