Windows 7 to Windows 10

You can go to Aveva support and click on Technology Matrix to find compatibility. Select your version of Citect and it will tell you what versions of Windows it is compatible with. Or, select the version of Windows and it will tell you all the products that are compatible. There are multiple editions of Windows 10 and multiple versions of each edition, but for Windows 10 Enterprise x64 it is supposed to be compatible with Citect 2015 SP1 to 2018R2. It may be possible to get a slightly older version to work, but it may require figuring out work-arounds, certain features may not work, you may be able to upgrade Windows with Citect already installed but may not be able to re-install Citect when needed, and it won't be supported.

Note that you may need to upgrade Windows 10 to a specific version. For example, Citect 2018 R2 requires Windows 10 Build 1607 or higher.

So, check compatibility before upgrading clients and upgrade Citect to a compatible version first.
