Any successful project with Citect over hyper-V, with soft keys and replicas working? (Citect Scada 8.2 / 2 full servers primary and standby / 2 control clientes - Windows server 2016 datacenter)

  • Citect SCADA has been validated on a number of Windows Client and Server OS versions, as per the AVEVA Software Support Technology Matrix, including a number of virtual platforms including VMWare and Hyper-V.

    If you make sure that the seleced hypervisor has no impact on the guest Virtual Machine that it hosts then Citect SCADA will not have any issues.
    Note with 2018R2 there is the support for windows server 2019.
