Citect Studio is not opening (Citect Scada 2018)

My Citect Studio is not opening. I have uninstalled anti virus and reinstall Citect on new path even though Citect Studio is not opening. If anybody has faced same issue then suggest something on this concern.

  • We had a problem with Citect 2018 R2 installing on Win7 64bit.
    Installation runs without error - but Citect Studio wouldn't start.
    No problems when installed on Win10.

    To get around the problem on Win7 64bit:
    Check files in C:\ProgramData\AVEVA\Citect SCADA 2018 R2\User - some maybe missing.
    eg Master.DBF, Example projects.
    Just copy these files/folders from a successful installation and Citect Studio opens.
