Officially unsupported language add in Citect SCADA

I am trying to add language in CitectSCADA 2018 R2 which is by default not supported. I am following instruction given in help file. As per help it should create language name .dbf file after compilation but its not creating. If I create by copying existing English language dbf and modifiying for new language and adding same its in LANG.dbf however i am getting warning, said language is not supported by citectSCADA and i am not getting affected by selecting while login.

Is there any other methods to follow or am i missing something here.

FYI i am upgrading Ver. 5.3 backup to latest one same language is working fine in 5.3 and changing happened using function SetLanguage function but its obsoleted and we have to use it using login only.

I have a problem with translating process analyst in Windows 11 Last Build 24H2 in version Plant Scada 8.5 Update 8 with my file for Polish Language "Resources_pl.dll". In all earlier versions, the file of the language worked.

I have a Polish language set in citect.ini section and in added parameter in section Process Analyst LanguagePath.Polish =pl.

I have one virtual machine on which the file works.

Then i have 2 new desktop dell pc with clean install Plant Scada 8.5 Update 08 and the translation has stopped working.

I made several new installations and it works on a few translation,but some do not work.

1. How can I check the loading of such a file Resources_pl.dll ?

2. The problem can be related to Windows 11 and fonts ?

3. Can Support provide a file for translation in the editable version english ?

We got a file "Resources_pl.dll" for the Polish language from the previous distributor Mitsubishi Electric years ago.

You mentioned some machines work and others do not? I assume they are all Windows 11?

If so, make sure that every machine is either using just citect.ini or a profile.

In both cases make sure the [ProcesAnalyst] section contains the following:

LanguagePath.Polish = pl

LanguagePath.Polish(Poland) = pl

And finally make sure the Resources_pl.dll is deployed to the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AVEVA Plant SCADA

If you have done all of that, then please contact AVEVA Support and we can then get your polish resources dll and debug further.

Yes, all the testing machines are Windows 11 Pro PL and i configure this like many times earlier with copy the resources file to Common Folder and also setting in Citect.ini for Polish (LanguagePath.Polish = pl) and LocalLanguage=Polish and on some it works without a problem, but does not explain on others with the same file.
