Configurator Exception

Hi,

When I attempt to run the configurator I receive the following exception.

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing SCADA but the issue remains. Does anyone know why this issue is occurring?

Hello Gavin,

Do you have another version o Citect installed?

Also check to see if you have other Aveva software products installed. They all share the "Platform Common Services" which will also show in add/remove programs. If you have another software installed it might have an older version of PCS and didn't update to this newer release. PCS can be updated independent of the software so something to check.

Yeah I think it is due to an earlier version of Scada being installed. The Archestra Logger mentions the previous version in the log. Is there an uninstaller available that would remove all the files so I can reinstall the software.

Uhm...I think you need to uninstall everything and try to install using Admin rights once again.
