Faster method to modify Equipment types?

Hi All,

Just wondering if there is a faster means to editing equipment types? I have number of items (tags/alarms) in one equipment type that I wish to copy to another.

Is this feasible by copy/paste in eqtype.DBF ? I don't currently have a version of DBF add-in installed.

Follow up question, dbf add-in installer doesn't work in my version of excel:

- Citect SCADA 2018 R2

- Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2204 Build 16.0.15128.20158) 64-bit

Is there a workaround or another means of working with these files? Libreoffice ?

Hi,

Libreoffice works fine, and no need of any add-in.

The only thing is when open the dbf, you have to select language used, and remember to save the file back to dbf..
