Citect 2015 Runtime causes windows to restart

The industrial PC (iPC) had a problem that is could not start up correctly after upgrading the windows version. This problem could be in windows or hard disk. The next procedure has followed to solve the problem.

First, Vijeo Citect SCADA license have been transferred to Schneider Electric Website. Next, the hard disk has been replaced and a new windows have been installed. Then the license has been transferred to the new hard disk. Finally, when start Vijeo Citect Runtime the iPC turn off and restart again. So, there is a hardware problem in the iP

Hi Mohab ,

Sounds like there could be a fault with the operating system. To be sure I would look at the Windows Event log to see what the fault was. It might be more efficient to simply re-install the OS, then install fresh copy of Citect. Then try run the Example project. If that is successful, do the last step of activating the license again.

Is this iPC upgraded from the embedded Windows 7? It appears that some drivers in iPC are not compatible with Windows 10 IoT.
