PlantScada "Out of Memory" when starting runtime from studio

Hi,

I'm on version Plant Scada 2020 R2, 8.3 Update 06 (Jul 12, 2022). When I try to run the application by hitting "Run" from PlantScada Studio, I get "Out of memory" pop-up message and the Runtime do not start.

If I close studio and use the short key for Runtime the application starts.

Any suggestion what could be the issue?

Hi Rune , Can you share more information about what component experiences the "Out of memory"? In theory the "run" from Studio or via shortcut should be the same. I recommend reaching out to Customer…

In theory the "run" from Studio or via shortcut should be the same.

I recommend reaching out to Customer Support to investigate this issue further.

Have a look at Windows Event Viewer for more details. The \Log\ folder syslog* for the component would also be a good place to start looking.

There was no specific info about what component. However I found out that it was related to user privilege's and how the computer where setup and if PlantScada was started with "Runs As Administrator" or not. In the end a computer clen-up and re-install of PlantScada will fix it.
