Webclient View-only Client

Hello--

The webclient start page has the option to select a control-client and another option to select a view-only client. Is it possible to remove the selection for the control-client?

    I don't believe there is an option to remove the Control Client option.

    Any solution would possibly require customization of the web files. I hope others in the community who might have experience with this can share their knowledge here.

    Please be advised that from Plant SCADA 2023 and later, the legacy Active-X Web Client has been deprecated. It is still officially supported and can be used on previous versions, as per the life cycle of the individual product.

    We encourage customers to adopt the new HTML5 web client technology or Access Anywhere solutions instead.
