DBF Add-In not installing

Hi,

I have a few custom dbf files to edit.  I am using Citect2018, and 32-bit Excel.  We recently added some PI related addins to Excel, and I've lost my DBF Add-In tool.

I cannot successfully install from the install script for Citect 2018.  It simply returns "Project DBF  Add-in for Excel - Not Installed" when I run the install.  Anyone know how I can install this tool, or edit my custom files otherwise?  I can port over to a workstation with MS Access, but prefer a local solution.

  • Can't answer the first question, but the second (how else) is easy: download and install Libreoffice. It's free, and its Calc spreadsheet program handles dbf files fine without the need for any plugins. (I don't think I've used the Excel plugin since last century when I was running Citect training courses!)
