Plant SCADA 2023 R2 export variables current value to CSV file

Dear Experts,

We are using Plant SCADA 2023 R2. We need to take a snapshot of 100 variables and store these values into a CSV/Excel file. We will store the current data only, no need for logging and multiple entries.

What is the most efficient way to achieve that?

If you don't wan to write any code, you could use the Report feature. You'll have to look up the Reports help to see how to configure that. Basically, you create a format file with the list of tagnames you want to log, separated by commas. Each time the report runs it writes those values to a text (CSV) file. Your format file might look like:

{Tag1},{Tag2},{Tag3}
