How to add CustomLayer in the MapApp?

In the SP2023R2 you can add a CustomLayer in the MapApp as a source. To do this, you can add a zip file.
Because I cannot find it in the documentation:

What are the specs for the zip file to use as a customlayer?

    Hi Corneel,

    I see that you have created a SR for this question.  I have confirmed that the documentation is not available at the moment and will ask that engineer assigned to your case to obtain that info and to provide that to you.
